Jesus said to his disciples,
Woe to anyone who causes bad things to happen!
2It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
It'd be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a heavy stone tied around their necks than to offend a little one.
3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Rebuke those who trespass against you.
If they apologize, forgive them.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
If someone trespasses against you seven times in a day,
and apologizes, forgive them.
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
Jesus said to them,
If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this sycamore tree, "Pull yourself up by the roots and throw yourself into the sea" and it'll obey you.
7But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
You don't say to your slaves [1] after they finish their work,
Sit down at the table and eat.
8And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
You say to them,
Prepare my supper and serve me.
Then, after I have finished eating and drinking, you may eat.
9Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
You don't thank your slave for serving you.
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
As Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem,
ten lepers met him and said,
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

One, who was a Samaritan,
returned, fell on his face, and thanked Jesus.

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
The Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God would come, and Jesus said,
It's not something you can see.
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

In the King James Version, "servant" usually means slave.
That has a nice sound to it, but I don't know what it means.
There will be nothing subtle about Jesus's return. It will be like lightning that flashes from one end of the heaven to the other. Like the Wicked Witch of the West writing "Surrender Dorothy" in the sky. Like that.
Jesus believed the story of Noah's ark. He thought it really happened and had no problem with the idea of God drowning everything and everybody.

Jesus also believes the story about Sodom's destruction. He says, "even thus shall it be in the day the son of man is revealed." This tells us about Jesus' knowledge of science and history, and his sense of justice.
Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (v.35)
Good to know. But I doubt that this is as gay as it sounds. It seems to be more of a statement about how many will be saved (about half) and the arbitrary nature of salvation. (It's pretty much a coin toss.)
