- He [Nephi Sr. 1:3
- There was a day set apart by the unbelievers, that all those who believed in those traditions should be put to death. 1:9
- Be of good cheer ... on the morrow come I [the Lord] into the world. 1:13
- The people began to be astonished because there was no darkness when the night came. 1:15
- Many, who had not believed ... fell to the earth and became as if they were dead. 1:16
- All the people upon the face of the whole earth ... were so exceedingly astonished that they fell to the earth. 1:17

- Yea, and the city of Onihah and the inhabitants thereof, and the city of Mocum and the inhabitants thereof, and the city of Jerusalem and the inhabitants thereof; and waters have I [Jesus] caused to come up in the stead thereof. 9:7
- Behold, the city of Gadiandi, and the city of Gadiomnah, and the city of Jacob, and the city of Gimgimno, all these have I [Jesus] caused to be sunk, and made hills and valleys in the places thereof; and the inhabitants thereof have I buried up in the depths of the earth. 9:8
- Behold, that great city Jacobugath ... have I [Jesus] caused to be burned with fire because of their sins and their wickedness, which was above all the wickedness of the whole earth, because of their secret murders and combinations. 9:9
- Behold, the city of Laman, and the city of Josh, and the city of Gad, and the city of Kishkumen, have I [Jesus] caused to be burned with fire, and the inhabitants thereof. 9:10
- Because ... there were none righteous among them, I [Jesus] did send down fire and destroy them. 9:11
- Many great destructions have I [Jesus] caused to come upon this land. 9:12
- It came to pass that ... they heard a voice as if it came out of heaven. 11:3
- And it came to pass that again they heard the voice, and they understood it not. 11:4
- Behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white. 11:8

- And thus did the thirty and eighth year pass away, and also the thirty and ninth, and forty and first, and the forty and second, yea, even until forty and nine years had passed away, and also the fifty and first, and the fifty and second; yea, and even until fifty and nine years had passed away. 1:6
- The people of Nephi did wax strong, and did multiply exceedingly fast, and became an exceedingly fair and delightsome people. 1:10

- Great and marvelous is the destruction of my people, the Nephites. 8:7

- The reason why he ceaseth to do miracles among the children of men is because that they dwindle in unbelief. 9:20

- Moses cast his eyes and beheld the earth, yea, even all of it ... And he beheld also the inhabitants thereof. 1:27

- Satan came among them, saying: I am also a son of God; and he commanded them, saying: Believe it not; and they believed it not, and they loved Satan more than God. 5:13
- As many as believed in the Son, and repented of their sins, should be saved; and as many as believed not and repented not, should be damned. 5:16
- Cain loved Satan more than God. 5:18
- Satan desireth to have thee [Cain]; and except thou shalt hearken unto my commandments, I will deliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire. 5:23
- From this time forth thou [Cain] shalt be the father of his lies; thou shalt be called Perdition; for thou wast also before the world. 5:24
- It shall be said in time to come—That these abominations were had from Cain ... this is a cursing which I [God] will put upon thee. 5:25
- Cain took one of his brothers’ daughters to wife, and they loved Satan more than God. 5:28
- Satan said unto Cain: Swear unto me by thy throat, and if thou tell it thou shalt die. 5:26
- Satan sware unto Cain that he would do according to his commands. 5:30
- Cain said: Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. 5:31
- For Lamech having entered into a covenant with Satan, after the manner of Cain, wherein he became Master Mahan, master of that great secret which was administered unto Cain by Satan; and Irad, the son of Enoch, having known their secret, began to reveal it unto the sons of Adam. 5:49
- From the days of Cain, there was a secret combination. 5:51
- Lord cursed Lamech, and his house, and all them that had covenanted with Satan. 5:52
- Lamech was despised, and cast out, and came not among the sons of men, lest he should die. 5:54

- Enoch, my son, prophesy unto this people, and say unto them ... by their oaths, they have brought upon themselves death; and a hell I have prepared for them, if they repent not. 6:27
- Enoch had heard these words, he bowed himself to the earth, before the Lord, and spake before the Lord, saying: Why is it that I have found favor in thy sight, and am but a lad, and all the people hate me. 6:31
- The Lord said unto Enoch ... Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good ... the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course. 6:32
- The Lord spake unto Enoch, and said unto him: Anoint thine eyes with clay, and wash them, and thou shalt see. 6:35
- He [Enoch] beheld the spirits that God had created; and he beheld also things which were not visible to the natural eye. 6:36
- A book of remembrance we have written ... by the finger of God; and it is given in our own language. 6:46
- As Enoch spake forth the words of God, the people trembled, and could not stand in his presence. 6:47
- Satan hath come among the children of men, and tempteth them to worship him; and men have become carnal, sensual, and devilish. 6:49
- He [God] called upon our father Adam by his own voice, saying: I am God; I made the world, and men before they were in the flesh. 6:51
- He [God] also said unto him ... believe, and ... be baptized ... in the name of mine Only Begotten Son, who is full of grace and truth, which is Jesus Christ. 6:52
- In the language of Adam, Man of Holiness is his name, and the name of his Only Begotten is the Son of Man, even Jesus Christ, a righteous Judge, who shall come in the meridian of time. 6:57
- Ye must be born again ... and be cleansed by blood, even the blood of mine Only Begotten. 6:59
- By the blood ye are sanctified. 6:60
- This is the plan of salvation unto all men, through the blood of mine Only Begotten, who shall come in the meridian of time. 6:62
- When the Lord had spoken with Adam ... he was caught away by the Spirit of the Lord, and was carried down into the water, and was laid under the water, and was brought forth out of the water. 6:64
- [Adam] heard a voice out of heaven, saying: Thou art baptized with fire, and with the Holy Ghost. 6:66

- Many have believed not, and have perished in their sins, and are looking forth with fear, in torment, for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God to be poured out upon them. 7:1

- There was a blackness came upon all the children of Canaan, that they were despised among all people. 7:8

- Enoch was high and lifted up, even in the bosom of the Father, and of the Son of Man; and behold, the power of Satan was upon all the face of the earth. 7:24
- He [Enoch] saw angels descending out of heaven; and he heard a loud voice saying: Wo, wo be unto the inhabitants of the earth. 7:25
- The fire of mine indignation is kindled against them; and in my hot displeasure will I send in the floods upon them, for my fierce anger is kindled against them. 7:34
- I am God; Man of Holiness is my name; Man of Counsel is my name; and Endless and Eternal is my name, also. 7:35
- But behold, their sins shall be upon the heads of their fathers; Satan shall be their father, and misery shall be their doom. 7:37
- These which thine eyes are upon shall perish in the floods; and behold, I will shut them up; a prison have I prepared for them. 7:38
- His [Enoch] bowels yearned; and all eternity shook. 7:41
- Enoch saw that Noah built an ark; and that the Lord smiled upon it, and held it in his own hand; but upon the residue of the wicked the floods came and swallowed them up. 7:43
- Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, even in the flesh ... saying ... the Lamb is slain from the foundation of the world ... and behold, Zion is with me. 7:47
- Enoch looked upon the earth; and he heard a voice from the bowels thereof, saying: Wo, wo is me, the mother of men; I am pained, I am weary, because of the wickedness of my children. 7:48
- The Lord said: Blessed is he through whose seed Messiah shall come; for he saith—I am Messiah, the King of Zion, the Rock of Heaven. 7:53
- The Lord said unto Enoch: Look, and he looked and beheld the Son of Man lifted up on the cross ... and the earth groaned; and the rocks were rent; and the saints arose. 7:55
- Many of the spirits as were in prison came forth, and stood on the right hand of God; and the remainder were reserved in chains of darkness until the judgment of the great day. 7:57
- I [the Lord] shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming. 7:62
