Revelation through Joseph Smith at Kirtland, Ohio, February 9, 1831
Go forth two by two with the sound of a trump
1 I'm Jesus, listen to me and obey me. 2 You gathered here to obey my commandment.
4 Here is the first commandment that I'm giving you: Go forth in my name, except for Joseph Smith, Jr. and Sidney Rigdon. 6 Go forth two by two with the sound of a trump. 7 Baptize and say, "Repent because the kingdom of heaven is here." 8 Go west.
10 Edward Partridge will be in the office I appointed him to. If he trespasses, he'll be replaced.
12 The Bible and the Book of Mormon contain the fullness of the gospel.
Killers must be killed (and they'll never be forgiven)
18-19 Killers must be killed, and they will never be forgiven.
Love your wife (and only your wife)
22 Love your wife and her alone. 23 A man who lusts after a woman has denied the faith. Cast him out if he doesn't repent. 24 Cast out adulterers if they don't repent. 26 Forgive them if they repent, but they do it again, cast them out. 28 Cast out whoever sins and doesn't repent.
Help the poor
30 Help the poor with your property. 40 Let your clothing be plain - and homemade. 42 Those who are idle will not be allowed to eat or wear clothes.
Faith healing
43 Sick people that don't have enough faith to be healed should not be fed by the enemy. 44 Two or more elders should be called to pray for and lay their hands on sick people. If they die, they're dead to me; if they live, they're alive to me.
46 Those that die in me won't taste death. Or maybe they'll taste it, but it'll taste sweet to them. 47 Wo to those who don't die in me - their death is bitter.
48 Those who have faith in me will be healed and won't die. 49 Blind people who have faith will see. Deaf people will hear. 51 And lame people will leap.
Those who disobey are damned
60 Those who obey my commandments will be saved. those who don't will be damned.
62 If you ask me where the New Jerusalem will be, I’ll tell you someday when I feel like it.
64 Watch out for those secret combinations.
Pay your church leaders
71 The elders and their families will be supported by church, using property that was supposed to support the poor. 72 Or they are to be paid in some other way. 73 The same goes from bishops.
What to do with fornicators
74 Don't cast out fornicators who have put away their companions. 75 But cast out those who have left their companions for the sake of adultery. 76 And don't accept any fornicators who are married. 80 Those who commit adultery will be tried by the church, if there are two or more witnesses.

Only Joseph Smith receives commandments and revelations
1 Elders of my church, listen to me. 2 I appointed him [Joseph Smith] to receive commandments and revelations from me. 3 No one but him will receive them from me. 4 Only he can appoint someone to replace himself. 5 So this is a law for you: Don't accept teachings, revelations, or commandments from anyone else.
Give Joseph Smith food, clothes, and whatever else he needs
12 If you want glory, appoint and uphold Joseph Smith, Jr.. 13 And if you want the mysteries of the kingdom, give him food, clothes, and whatever else he needs.
The end is coming (so gird up your loins)
17 The great day is coming soon. 18 On that day, heavens and earth will shake, and the trump of God will say: “Get up, you saints. Stay asleep you sinners until I come again.” 19 So gird up your loins. 26 The cup of the wrath of my indignation is full. 27 This is God speaking. 29 I'll come when I'm ready to come. 30 The great millennium is coming. 31 Satan will be bound, then he'll be loosed. But he'll only reign for a little while, and then the earth will be destroyed by fire. 33 The wicked people will be burned in an unquenchable fire. 34 I'm Jesus. 35 Be sober. Obey my commandments. Amen.
