90 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten.
91 1 Whoever lives in God's secret place will live in God's shadow.
3 He'll keep you safe from dreadful diseases.
10 Nothing bad will ever happen to you.
11-12 God's angels will protect you from dashing your foot against a stone.
13 You’ll walk on the lion and adder and trample the dragon under your feet.
92 5 Oh God, your thoughts are very deep.
6 Brutish men and fools don't understand them.
7 Just when everything is going well for the wicked, they will be destroyed forever.
9 Your enemies will scatter and die, God.
10 But you will exalt my horn like the horn of a unicorn.
12 Righteous people will flourish.
14 They will have children at an old age and will be fat.
93 1 The world is fixed in its place. It cannot move.
4 God is stronger than the noisy waves of the sea.
94 1 Show yourself, Oh God of vengeance.
23 God will cut them off.
95 2 Make a joyful noise to God with psalms.
3 God is the king of the gods.
96 1 Sing a new song to God.
4 Fear god more than all the other gods.
10 Tell the heathen that God reigns and the earth doesn't move.
97 2 God is surrounded by clouds and darkness.
3 A fire goes before him, burning his enemies to death.
5 The hills melt in God's presence.
7 All you gods should worship him.
9 Oh God, you are high above the earth. You are higher than all the other gods.
98 1 God's right hand and holy arm have gotten him a victory.
8 Let the floods clap their hands.
99 1 God reigns. He sits between the cherubim.
6 God spoke to Moses, Aaron, and Samuel in a cloudy pillar.
8 Oh God, you forgave them, but you took vengeance on their inventions.
100 1 Make a joyful noise to God.
101 2 I'll behave in a perfect way and walk with a perfect heart
3 I'll see no wicked thing. I hate the work of those who turn aside.
4 I won't know any wicked people.
8 I'll destroy all the wicked people in the land.
102 1 Don't hide your face from me, God, when I'm in trouble.
2 Listen to me and answer me quickly.
3 My bones burn, and I forget to eat.
5 I groan so much that my bones stick to my skin.
6-7 I'm like a pelican, an owl, or a sparrow
8 My enemies insult me all the time.
9 I've eaten ashes.
10 You've lifted me up and thrown me down.
14 Your servants take pleasure in stones and dust.
25 You laid the foundations of the earth.
26 Heaven and earth will perish, but you will live forever.
103 2 God heals all my diseases
5 And satisfies my mouth with good things.
14 He remembers that we are dust.
104 1 God stretched out the heavens like a curtain.
5 He laid the foundations of the earth, so it could never be moved.
6 The waters covered the mountains.
15 God made wine to make people happy.
21 And he provides prey for the lions.
24 God made all creatures just the way they are.
105 16 God sent a famine on Egypt.
29 He turned their waters into blood.
30 He covered their land in frogs.
31 He plagued them with flies and lice.
32 He smashed them with hail and burned them with fire.
33 He killed their fig trees.
34 He sent locusts and caterpillars.
36 He killed all their firstborn sons.
40 He fed the Israelites with quails and bread from heaven.
41 He gave them water from a rock.
44 And he gave them the land that belonged to heathens.
106 1 Praise God because he's good and merciful.
11 He drowned the Egyptian army.
12 So the Israelites believed God's words and praised him.
13 But then they forgot about him.
14 And lusted exceedingly in the wilderness.
16 They envied Moses and Aaron (the saint of God).
17 The earth opened and swallowed Dathan, Abiram, and their associates.
18 And a fire burned up the wicked.
19 They made a golden calf in Horeb.
28 They had sex with the women of Moab,
29 causing God to send a plague on the Israelites, killing 24,000,
30 before it was finally stopped by Phinehas.
31 This act has been and will always be considered righteous by everyone.
39 Thus they were defiled by their own works and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40 So God became angry with them and gave them to people who hated them.
