1 Nephi

1. "I beheld a virgin, and whe was exceedingly fair and white."
   Nephi sees an exceedingly white virgin. But how the hell would Nephi know that the exceedingly white woman was a virgin? I guess Nephi could spot a virgin from 400 kilometers away. 11:13
2. Nephi, his brothers, and Zoram (Laban's servant) all got married to Ishmael's nameless daughters. It was a group wedding with Lehi serving as the Reverend Moon, saying stuff like, "Do you [Nephi, Laman, Lemuel, Sam, Zoram] take what's her name here to be your lawfully wedded wife?" 16:7
3. They waded through much affliction and their nameless women bore children in the wilderness. 17:1b

2 Nephi

4. When women are allowed to rule, everything goes to hell in a hand basket. 13:12
5. God will "smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion" and "will discover their secret parts" since he doesn't like the way they dress and walk. 13:16-17
6. Here is a clear prophecy of the future Mormon church: "And in that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach." 14:1
7. After God "washed away the filth" from the women and killed the men, he set up "a cloud and smoke by day" and a "flaming fire by night." 14:4-5

9. God will make things especially bad for pregnant women; they'll be trodden down and left to perish. 15:2

Doctrine & Covenants

10. Don't complain, Emma Smith, about not seeing things. 25:4

    Although Joseph Smith's wife, Emma, sometimes served as his scribe, she never got to see the golden plates.

11. Your job is to comfort your husband, Joseph Smith, Jun. 25:5
12. Be meek, not proud. Let your soul delight in your husband, and the glory that will come on him. 25:14

19. Since you asked me how I, God, justified the many wives and concubines of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David and Solomon, here is my answer. 132:1
20. So prepare your heart to receive my instructions. Everyone must obey the law that I am now revealing to you. 132:2
21. This is an everlasting covenant. Those who do not accept it are damned. No one who rejects this covenant may enter into my glory. 132:4
22. This law was instituted before the foundation of the world. 132:5
23. The law was instituted for the fulness of my glory. Abide by it or be damned, says the Lord God. 132:6
24. God commanded Abraham and Sarah gave him Hagar for a wife. 132:34
25. Should Abraham be condemned for this? No, I commanded him to do it. 132:35
26. Abraham had concubines, who bore him children. And he was righteous for that too. 132:37
27. David, Solomon, and Moses also had many wives and concubines, as did many others from the beginning of creation. They didn't sin by any of this. 132:38
28. I gave David his wives and concubines. And he never sinned - except for once, in the matter of Uriah and his wife. But David won't get Uriah's wife when he's out of the world; I'll give her to another man. 132:39
29. If she isn't in the new and everlasting covenant and she has sex with another man, she has committed adultery. 132:42
30. If she hasn't committed adultery and I reveal that to you, Joseph [Smith], then you have the power to give her to another man who hasn't committed adultery - because he will be the ruler over many. 132:44
31. Here is a commandment to Emma Smith, your wife that I gave to you:  Accept all those I have given to Joseph [Smith], and who are virtuous and pure. Those who aren't pure, but claimed to be pure, will be destroyed. 132:51-52
32. Emma Smith: Be Joseph's wife and don't marry anyone else. If you don't obey this commandment, you will be destroyed. 132:54
33. If any man marries a virgin, and wants to marry another virgin who isn't vowed to another man, and the first gives her consent, then he is justified, and does not commit adultery - because they are given to him and belong to him and no one else. 132:61
34. If ten virgins are given to him, he can't commit adultery, because they belong to him. So he is justified. 132:62
35. But if any of these ten virgins after they are married to one man, has sex with another man, she has committed adultery and shall be destroyed. Wives are given to a man to produce children. 132:63
36. If a man has a wife, who he has taught this law to, and yet she refuses to believe or obey that law, then she must be destroyed. I will destroy her. 132:64
37. If a wife will not obey this law by accepting her husband's other wives, then I will give him wives anyway. She is the guilty one, and her husband is exempt from the law of Sarah, who allowed Abraham to take Hagar for another wife and I commanded Abraham to take her.  132:65
