Of course, I suppose you could say that Jesus didn't prosper since he was crucified. Still, it seems he did pretty well for himself since he was the King of Kings and Lord of Lords - or so says the tattoo on his thigh (Revelation 19:16). And there are a couple million people alive today who believe he was the Messiah.
