Thou [Joseph Smith] deliveredst up that which God had given thee sight and power to translate [The Book of Mormon], thou deliveredst up that which was sacred into the hands of a wicked man [Martin Harris]. Doctrine and Covenants 3:12.
The "wicked man" here is Martin Harris, who lost 116 of the "sacred" first manuscript pages of the Book of Mormon in the summer of 1828.
