Sons of Belial

There are lots of SOBs (Sons of Belial) in the Bible.

Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him. Judges 19:22

Abigail's husband, Nabal, was a son of Belial - according to one of the young men who worked for him, anyway. (So God killed Nabal and gave his wife and possessions to David.)

Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master [Nabal], and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him. 1 Samuel 25:17

And Nabal's wife, Abigail, agreed, calling her husband a stupid man of Belial.

Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send. 1 Samuel 25:25

The sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place. 2 Samuel 23:6-7

Jezebel wrote some letters in Ahab's name and sent them to the elders, saying, "Get some false witnesses (sons of Belial) to testify that Naboth has blasphemed God and the king. Then Naboth will be stoned to death."

She [Jezebel] wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people: And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him [Naboth], saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die. 1 Kings 21:10

And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. There are also men of Belial

And children of Belial

Children of Belial are people who suggest that you should serve another God. (Kill them.)
