0 What The Bible says about Migrants

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

Migrants

Be kind to migrants and refugees (don't deport them)

Treat them as someone who was born in your own country. Love them as yourself.

But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself Leviticus 19:34

Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.Deuteronomy 10:19

Provide food for them.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger Leviticus 23:22

Don't mistreat or oppress them.

Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates. Deuteronomy 24:14

Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. Deuteronomy 27:19

God will judge you severely if you are unkind to them.

I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against ... those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger. Malachi 3:5

That was, after all, the sin of Sodom.

This was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. Ezekiel 16:49
