1Woe unto the defrauders:
2Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full,
3But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss.
4 Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again

The guilty used to laugh at those who believed ... This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers, ... Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do ? 83:29
1Woe unto the defrauders:
2Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full,
3But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss.
4 Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again
Woe to the defrauders.
On the awful day,
everyone will stand before the Lord of the Worlds.
7Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin -
8Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! -
9A written record.
There's a record of the vile in Sijjin. [1]
A written reocrd.
10Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
Woe to the deniers on that day!
Those who deny the judgment day,
13Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old.
14 Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.
15 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord.
who, when our revelations are read to them, say,
Those are merely old fables.
16 Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,
17 And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.
will burn in hell.
Someone will say to them,
This is what you used to deny.
18 Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin -
19Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! -
20A written record,
21 Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord).
There's a record of the righteouse in 'Illiyin. [2]
A written reocrd.
22Lo! the righteous verily are in delight,
23On couches, gazing,
24 Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight.
The righteous lounge on couches,
25They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,
26 Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -
drinking wine, [3]
mixed with the water of Tasnim. [4]
29 Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed,
Lo! The guilty used to laugh at believers,
30 And wink one to another when they passed them;
31 And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting;
32 And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray.
33 Yet they were not sent as guardians over them.
and wink at one another when they passed them.
But on this day, believers will laugh at the disbelievers,
on their high couches, gazing.
36Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do?
Aren't the disblievers being paid for what they used to do?
Notes
No one knows where Sijjin is. But there's a record of the vile there.
No one knows where 'Illiyin is either. But there's a record of the righteous there.
No one know what Tasnim is. But it's mixed with the wine that the righteous drink in the garden.
