Surah 114: Mankind (An-Nas)

The sneaking whisperer and the hearts of jinn

114:1-6

¹ Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord, King, and God of mankind,

² The King of mankind,

³ The God of mankind,

⁴From the evil of the sneaking whisperer,

from the evil of the sneaking whisperer, [1]

⁵Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind,

who whispers in the hearts of humans and jinn. [2]

⁶Of the jinn and of mankind.

Who is the sneaking whisperer? The Quran doesn't say.
The jinn (v.6)
The jinn are evil spirits (or genies) created from fire. The sneaking whisperer whispers into their hearts.
