Amulek was one of the great Mormon prophets. He prophesied in 82 BCE that Jesus will not save people from their sins.

Shall he save his people in their sins? And Amulek answered and said unto him: I say unto you he shall not. Alma 11:34

Alma and Amulek ... testified that there was but one God, and that he should send his Son among the people, but he should not save them. Alma 14:3-5
