Fewer Words Verion: Elijah wrote to King Jehoram saying,
Because you're not like your father or grandfather, and you made Judah go a whoring, and you killed your brothers, a great plague will smite your people, children, wives, and everything you own. And you will have a great sickness of your bowels, until your bowels fall out.
God stirred up the Philistines and Arabians against Jehoram. And they came to Judah and carried away Jehoram's sons, wives, and his possessions. Only his youngest son, Jehoahaz, remained.
Then God smote Jehoram's bowels with an incurable disease. Until, finally two years, his bowels fell out and he died. 2 Chronicles 21:12-19
