And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 36:9

  2. We [Allah] have put shackles on their necks that reach to their chins to make them stiff-necked. 36:8

  4. It was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct. 36:29
  5. A token unto them is the dead earth. 36:33

  7. The sun runs to its resting place. 36:38
  8. And we [Allah] have given the moon mansions to live in until she returns like an old shrivelled palm leaf. 36:39
  9. It isn't the sun's job to overtake the moon, or the night to outstrip the day. They each float in an orbit. 36:40
  10. It is a token for them that we bear their offspring in a ship. 36:41
  11. They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing. 36:49
  12. The men in paradise will be happily employed with their wives. 36:55-56
