Allah has heard the words of the woman who argued with you (Muhammad) about her husband. She has complained to Allah,
and Allah heard your conversation. Allah hears things. 58:1
Those of you who divorce your wives by saying they are like their mothers are wrong. They aren't like your mothers.
58:2
A man who remarries a wife (whom he previously divorced by saying she was like his mother) must free a slave before he touches her again.
Allah knows what you're doing. 58:3
If a man doesn't have the wherewithall to own a slave must fast for two months before touching his former wife. If he can't do
the fast, he must feed sixty poor people. 58:4
Someday Allah will raise the dead and tell them what they did. Allah keeps an account and remembers (even after everyone else has forgotten).
