Absurdities in Zephaniah

1. "The day of the LORD is at hand." 1:7

2. God "will punish ... all such as are clothed with strange apparel" or "leap on the threshold." 1:8-9

3. God doesn't have night-vision, so he needs candles when he comes to punish the people that say, "The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil." 1:12

4. "The great day of the LORD is near." 1:14

5. "The cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it."
