Forty Years

It took the Israelites 40 years to travel from Egypt to Canaan, yet such a journey, even at that time, would have taken no more than a few weeks.

The children of Israel did eat manna forty years. Exodus 16:35

And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years. Numbers 14:33

He made them wander in the wilderness forty years. Numbers 32:13

Walking through this great wilderness: these forty years. Deuteronomy 2:7

Google maps says the journey from the Giza Plateau to Jerusalem is 742 kilometers and would take 152 hours to walk. (About 19 days with 8 hours of walking each day.)
