- Sodom's sin wasn't homosexuality. It was pride, greed, idleness, and refusing to help the poor.
(Republicans are the new Sodomites.) Or maybe not. Here's the next verse:
"And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good."
Was the "abomination" that the Sodomites committed the the one mentioned in ?

According to Robert Gagnon (The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics), "toceba
[abomination] probably refers to homosexual intercourse" in this verse.
