Rachel had stolen the images that were her father's. Genesis 31:19God told the Israelites to "borrow" and "spoil" from the Egyptians during the Exodus.
But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour ... and ye shall spoil the Egyptians. Exodus 3:22In Ezekiel, God says that the Israelites shall spoil those that robbed them.
