All that believed were together, and had all things common. 2:44
Trivia: What married couple was killed by God for not giving all their money to the church?
"All that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need." 2:44-45
The early Christians were the first communists. There was no private property. Everything was shared equally with everyone else. They sold all of their possessions, and gave the proceeds to everyone, according to their need.
"Distribution was made unto every man according as he had need." 4:32-35
