1 Timothy: Selected Verses

  1. Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies. 1:4
  2. The law is not made for a righteous man, but ... for them that defile themselves with mankind. 1:9-10

  16. I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children ... For some are already turned aside after Satan. 5:14-15
  17. Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 5:20
  18. Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake. 5:23
  19. Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 6:1
  20. They that have believing masters ... do them service 6:2
  21. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be ... ready to distribute. 6:17-18
